Who runs Convert CSV
I'm Abdulla Al Fahad. I build and maintain every converter and editor on this site, and I write the guides that sit next to those tools. Convert CSV is an independent project — not a bank, accounting firm, or tax advisor.
I started it because everyday format work — flattening a JSON export, cleaning a CSV before a CRM import, or turning a bank statement into rows — should not require a desktop install or a one-off script. The tools stay focused on that: browser-side conversion and editing. They do not store your files, and they are not a substitute for professional tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Why this site exists
Data comes in dozens of formats — CSV, Excel, JSON, XML, YAML, SQL, HTML tables, bank statement files, and more. Most people just need to get their data into a spreadsheet, clean it up, and move on. They should not need to install Python, learn a command-line tool, or wait for a developer to write a one-off script.
Convert CSV exists to make everyday data conversion fast and accessible. Every tool runs in your browser, processes files locally, and produces a downloadable result you can verify before saving. No signup walls, no watermarks, no file retention.

Your data stays on your device. Convert CSV processes files entirely in your browser using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with third parties. When you close the tab, your data is gone. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
